The application is evaluated by the expert panel based on the criteria listed here.
The basic idea of this open call is to maintain solutions developed or adapted in response to the last 2 years of the pandemic, with the potential to create a more resilient and sustainable construction sector with a higher quality of life for all. All submitted ideas are expected to be published and discussed via events, exhibitions, and publications. We encourage you to submit your idea in a form that is suitable for, and tolerates, publication. If there are confidential details that you consider to be crucial for us to know, you can enclose them as an appendix with a clear indication that the document is "CONFIDENTIAL".
RESPOND provides funding for the cost of post product development, which is associated with bringing the product to market. Thus, the funding must ensure new solution is put to use by customers and thereby supports a more resilient built environment and better quality of life. The funding can, for example, be used to obtain the necessary tests and approvals to bring the product to market and obtain the first reference projects, which are crucial in relation to future sales.
From the application deadline on September 1st, it will take 3 – 3,5 months for a final answer to the application and for granting the funds.
Selected applications vil be invited to presentation of their solution in front of the expert panel on the following dates: September 19 and September 21, 2022.
It is possible to fund 8 - 10 solutions.
